Best Air Purifiers in Singapore on Shopee (2026): 3 Picks for HDB and Condo Homes
A kiasu, research-based shortlist of 3 air purifiers you can buy on Shopee Singapore — Xiaomi 4 Compact, Xiaomi 4 Lite and Philips PureProtect Quiet 2200 — with published CADR, room size, filter costs, pre-order and warranty catches, and where it may be cheaper. Prices last checked 26 Oct 2026.
Updated 26 October 2026
Haze season comes and goes, but the "which air purifier ah?" question in the family group chat never really stops. So Kiasu Ah Huat — our (fictional) everyday Singaporean who reads every line of small print so you don't kena con — went through spec sheets, official store pages and Shopee listings to build a short list you can actually buy online in Singapore.
Ah Huat's Kiasu Tip: Honest disclosure first, lah. This page has affiliate links to Shopee. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It doesn't change which models we picked — and where another shop looks cheaper or safer, we tell you, even if we earn nothing from it.
Paiseh, important: we haven't tested these purifiers personally. This is a research-based roundup built from the brands' own published specs, official Singapore store pages, Singapore and US government guidance, and the Shopee listings themselves. We don't give star ratings or "test results" because we didn't do any tests. Prices, stock and listing details were last checked on 26 Oct 2026 (SGT) and change often, so always check the current price before you check out.
New to CADR, HEPA and room sizing? Don't let us repeat ourselves — Ah Huat already explained all of it in his guide to choosing an air purifier in Singapore. This page assumes you've had a quick look.

How we picked
Ah Huat's shortlist rules were simple and very kiasu:
- Sold on Shopee Singapore and shipping from Singapore when we checked.
- Published CADR and room-size figures from the brand, so you can size it for your room instead of trusting "suitable for big room one".
- Filter-based cleaning. The US EPA advises avoiding air cleaners that produce ozone, so we skipped anything sold mainly as an ioniser or "ozone" purifier.
- Replacement filters with a published price in Singapore, so you know the running cost before you buy.
- No made-up scores. We note every catch we found: pre-orders, third-party sellers, warranty wording and price gaps.
Kiasu warning: CADR numbers here are not like-for-like
This is the part most listings won't tell you. CADR numbers are measured under different standards:
- Xiaomi and Philips publish a particle CADR under China's GB/T 18801 standard, in m³/h.
- Many other brands publish smoke, dust and pollen CADR in cfm (cubic feet per minute), the AHAM-style rating.
- NEA's sizing rule — smoke CADR of at least room volume × 5 (× 7 for a poorly ventilated room) — is based on smoke CADR, per NEA's air pollution FAQs.
So a "230" on one box and a "246" on another are not directly comparable. To turn cfm into m³/h, multiply by about 1.7 (per AHAM). The EPA also notes that CADR is measured at the highest fan speed — which is usually the loudest — so real-life cleaning on a quiet setting will be slower.
None of our three picks publishes a smoke CADR, so you can't check them directly against NEA's rule. Treat the brand's room-size figure as a guide, and if you're unsure, size up rather than down.
Ah Huat's Kiasu Tip: Using NEA's rule with a 2.6 m ceiling, a 12 m² bedroom needs at least about 156 m³/h of smoke CADR, and a 25 m² living room at least about 325 m³/h. Measure your room first, then compare.
The 3 picks at a glance

| Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite | Xiaomi Official Store | S$196.00 | Pre-order | 360 m³/h particle (GB/T) | 25–43 m² | S$49.90, every 6–12 months |

1. Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact — budget bedroom pick
The cheapest of the three, and the one Ah Huat would look at first for a typical HDB bedroom. According to Xiaomi Singapore's spec page, the 4 Compact (AC-M18-SC) has a 230 m³/h particle CADR (GB/T 18801), a suggested room size of 16–27 m², a 3-in-1 filter (primary filter, "Xiaomi high-efficiency filter" and activated carbon) rated at 99.97% for 0.3 µm particles, noise of up to 60 dB(A) with a 20 dB sleep mode, and 27 W power. Xiaomi doesn't label it "true HEPA", so don't assume it is.
A replacement filter is S$39.90 at Era Space, with a suggested change every 6–12 months — so budget roughly S$40–80 a year. Xiaomi Singapore's warranty page gives 1 year on the main unit (filters excluded) and 6 months on the power adapter and cable.
Budget bedroom pick
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Compact
S$127.05 (was S$169.00) seen on Shopee, 26 Oct 2026 — check current price.
- Seller: Xiaomi Official Store (ships from Singapore)
- Pre-order: estimated delivery ~28–30 Nov when we checked
- Listing: Region of Origin China, 12-month manufacturer warranty
Pros
- Lowest price of the three
- 230 m³/h particle CADR (GB/T) for 16–27 m²
- 20 dB sleep mode and 27 W, per Xiaomi
- Replacement filter S$39.90
Cons
- Pre-order — not for this week's haze
- Plug type not stated on the listing; uses an external power adapter
- Xiaomi doesn't call the filter true HEPA
- GB/T particle CADR can't be checked directly against NEA's smoke-CADR rule
2. Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite — budget bigger-room pick
If the Compact is for the bedroom, the 4 Lite is Xiaomi's step up for a living room. Xiaomi Singapore lists the 4 Lite (AC-M17-SC) with a 360 m³/h particle CADR (GB/T), a formaldehyde CADR of 120, a room size of 25–43 m², noise of up to 61 dB(A) (33.4 dB(A) in night mode) and 33 W power. Xiaomi describes its filter as a "high-efficiency filter" using electrostatic charge and mechanical filtration — it does not call it HEPA.
The replacement filter is S$49.90 at Era Space, changed every 6–12 months (roughly S$50–100 a year).
Budget bigger-room pick
Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite
S$196.00 seen on Shopee, 26 Oct 2026 — check current price.
- Seller: Xiaomi Official Store (ships from Singapore)
- Pre-order: check the estimated delivery date on the listing
- Same 12-month manufacturer warranty and China origin caveats as the Compact
Pros
- 360 m³/h particle CADR (GB/T) for 25–43 m²
- Published formaldehyde CADR (120)
- Night mode of 33.4 dB(A), per Xiaomi
Cons
- Pre-order — order early, not during a haze spike
- Plug type not stated; check it with the seller
- Xiaomi doesn't call the filter HEPA
- Louder night mode than the Compact's 20 dB sleep mode

3. Philips PureProtect Quiet 2200 (AC2220/10) — big-room pick (buy smart)
On paper — published particle CADR and coverage — this is the strongest of the three. The Philips Singapore product page lists a 420 m³/h particle CADR (GB/T 18801-2022), coverage of up to 109 m² (NRCC-54013), "20 m² in under 7 minutes", a 3-layer filter (pre-filter, activated carbon and HEPA NanoProtect), noise of 13–45 dB (IEC 60704, measured at 1.5 m) and 28 W maximum power. Philips also says it releases no ions, chemicals or ozone.
The replacement FY2200/30 filter is S$79 on Philips Singapore, which quotes a filter life of "3 years". That's a calculated average; our own guess (not Philips' claim) is that Singapore's humidity and haze episodes could shorten it.
The kiasu part: on Shopee, the listing we found is from dynamic.plus, a third-party seller — not an official Philips store — at S$408. On 26 Oct 2026, Philips Singapore's own store listed it at S$379 (with a 2-year warranty and 7-day returns when bought there) — but showed it as out of stock. The Shopee listing description says "2 years warranty by Philips", but the spec table on the same listing says "No Warranty". That's a contradiction, so ask the seller in writing who honours the warranty before you pay. Ah Huat's take: the official Philips Singapore store is the safer source, so set a stock alert there; Shopee is the convenience option if you need one now, or if your vouchers close the gap.
Big-room pick — compare with Philips SG first
Philips PureProtect Quiet 2200 (AC2220/10)
S$408.00 seen on Shopee, 26 Oct 2026 — check current price. Philips SG listed S$379 (out of stock) that day.
- Seller: dynamic.plus — third-party seller, not an official Philips store
- In stock, ships from Singapore when we checked
- Warranty: listing description says 2 years by Philips, spec table says No Warranty — confirm with the seller
Pros
- Highest published particle CADR here: 420 m³/h (GB/T)
- HEPA NanoProtect filter plus carbon
- No ions, chemicals or ozone, per Philips
- Quiet spec: 13–45 dB
Cons
- S$29 more than Philips SG's own price (S$379, out of stock when we checked)
- Conflicting warranty info on the listing
- FY2200/30 filter costs S$79 upfront
- Overkill for a small bedroom
Before you check out: plugs, warranty and the Safety Mark
- Safety Mark: air purifiers are not on the CPSO List of Controlled Goods (last updated 23 Jun 2026), so don't expect a Safety Mark on the purifier itself and don't let anyone tell you it's "required". It's still worth following CPSO's tips for shopping online.
- Plug: ask for a Singapore 3-pin plug (or the right adapter supplied by the brand). None of the Xiaomi listings we checked stated the plug type, so check the plug and warranty with the seller before you pay.
- Local warranty: confirm who honours it — the brand in Singapore or the seller — and keep your order screenshot.
- Pre-orders: both Xiaomi picks were pre-order when we checked (the Philips listing was in stock). If haze is already here, a delivery weeks away won't help this week.
Ah Huat's Kiasu Tip: Screenshot the listing — price, warranty line and delivery date — before you pay. If anything goes wrong, you got proof. Kiasu, but shiok when you need it.
Also check outside Shopee
Shopee isn't always the cheapest or safest. One more option from our research (no affiliate link here):
- Philips 800 Series (AC0820) — listed at S$225.60 at Mustafa. It appears on NEA's list of portable air cleaners with a smoke CADR of 190 m³/h. That list is based on supplier-submitted figures and isn't an endorsement. Check which replacement filter it takes and Mustafa's warranty terms.
Quick kiasu checklist
- Measure the room: length × width × ceiling height, then × 5 (or × 7) for the smoke CADR NEA suggests.
- Check which CADR standard the box uses before comparing numbers.
- Add one year of filters to the price.
- Check stock: in stock, or pre-order with a weeks-away delivery?
- Check the seller (official store or third party), the plug and the warranty.
- Compare with the brand's own Singapore store before you tap "Buy now".
Keep expectations realistic too: the EPA says health improvements from air cleaners are usually small, there's no rating system for how well they remove gases, and they work best alongside closing windows during haze and following official health advice.
